Thanks for the post. The value of online video to marketers is continuing to grow. According to a BurstMedia survey, 7 out of 10 adult internet users viewed online video content and more than half of respondent’s age 65 and older are watching online video clips. Marketing managers that arent incorporating video into their budgets are at risk. The viral effects of the media alone are worth the investment.

I was searching for the most exhaustive possible list of video sharing sites, and I found that one (http://www.ilikesharingvideos.com/video-sharing-sites/en/) which lists more than 250 of them with their niche, country, rank, etc.
It may help some other people around.
Cheers

Video sharing is a great new technology! I prefer YouTube and also use Ready Talk, an online audio and web conferencing website.

Every social network is very suitable for video marketing. For a couple of great video's about Pepsi China look at http://pepsichina.hyves.net/

I totally agree with you. I just learned how powerful video advertising can be on the net. All the top earners in my affiliate company all have video's on youtube. I truly believe this is what was seperating them from the rest of the pack. Not only does Google love video but they also can put there sign up link on the same page with the video and get A ton of signups without even contacting anyone.

It seems to me that universities and colleges in the US are really leading the way in this area. Just check out Stanford University's YouTube Channel. There's over 500 videos on there!

As the credit crunch continues to bite, online video marketing is definitely the way forward for both small and large businesses alike. The case for video production as an effective marketing tool really couldn't be stronger and companies who refuse to embrace are likely to get left behind.

It's interesting that some smaller video sharing sites bring more traffic than Youtube. With smaller sites you have more chance to stay on "Recent video" list than bigger video sharing sites.

In other words, don't stop by submitting your video to only Youtube. Take your time to submit to other sites as well.

A video uploading site not on the list but should have been, would be www.adwido.com these guys help you build a targeted keyword campaign that directly links to your site, plus the account is still FREE...

You're totally right! I know that video advertisement marketing and link exchange is very important to small business. after getting booted off youtube.com there are sites like http://adwido.com that give you free link exchange, video uploads, and even just a simple web page that will link back to your site because getting found is everything! great suggestion anonymous.
